Billy R. Ready PA is a Central Florida law firm established in 1981. They handle hundreds of clients per year with a variety of matters varying from insurance claims, personal injury, medical malpractice, real-estate and estate planning.

Billy Ready, esquire and Brad Stewart, esquire and the staff were interested in standardizing their filing procedures for all case types, eliminating the need to store and maintain paper files, increasing access to files and integrating OnBase with their line of business software ProLaw.

In 2007 Billy R. Ready PA selected OnBase as their enterprise content management solution to meet these business goals.

• Standardize Filing Procedures for All Case Types – OnBase provided the tools for the firm to create a very structured filing system for every case type. Now everyone uses the same categories, index values and document types to uniquely identify every document within a case file.
• Eliminate Storage and Maintenance of Paper Files – OnBase has removed the need for all paper retention at the law firm. No one needs to worry about filing, re-filing or maintaining any records or the whereabouts of a case file or individual document.
• More Accurately Track Our Spending – OnBase has allowed the entire law firm the ability to work on the same case file at the same time. The firm can instantly retrieve and discuss critical documents with clients in real-time. Either inside or outside the office the attorneys can access files and work on them the same.
• Save Between $80,000 and $100,000 a Year – OnBase seamlessly integrated with ProLaw using the application enabler module. The firm can double click a Client ID/Matter number in ProLaw and view all the documents pertaining to that matter from OnBase.
